I would like to began with something about myself. I've raised dogs for twenty-nine years and the last seventeen of those we're with labs. I was raising and showing Chinese -Sharpei's at one time, but there was a lot of health problems with them. I really loved the breed, but the health problems we're really hard to deal with. I had been visiting my sister-in-law when she said she wanted to go and look at some lab puppies, so I took her to look. She was looking for a yellow pup and I wasn't even looking for myself, but I saw the cutest chocolate lab puppy. I of course brought her home and that was that.
   Labs are one of the smartest dogs I've ever been around and owned.  They can figure out how to open gates by watching you. I've had to put locks on all my gate.  I've always loved animals and you can tell them anything and they won't tell anyone else. They give unconditional love, do funny antics and their always at the door to greet you weather you had a bad day or not. My labs are here to stay.
