Here are some of the pups I've had and loved and now they have great parents and loving homes. I want to thank everyone who sent pictures of their babies to me and I really enjoy the photos a great deal. Thank you. This is Sergeant and he is out of Bonaventure's(AKA Grizzly Bear)and Candi is owned by Karen Caudill.
Debbie, I wanted to give you an update on Luger, the 5 year old yellow lab we adopted from you about a year ago. He is truly a member of our family in every way. He now lives and sleeps with us inside the house every night. He has his own bed, as you can see in the picture, he gets vacuumed often and loves it, and he is truly my dog. However, he is all too willing to jump in the back of my husband's truck when it gets cranked up, he is always up for a ride to town or the river! We have discovered that he does not particularly like cats, but will tolerate them. We fortunately do not own any, but there are a few strays around. We are blessed that he gets along with our children, is gentle and minds very well. Even though we had a rough few weeks when we first brought him home, it only took us a few days after listening to him, to figure out what would work for both us. I wanted to "Thank You" for allowing him to be a part of our lives, we love him as if we had raised him his entire life.
Thanks so much! Marsha Pugh
Debbie,
I just wanted to let
you know that Luger is doing just fine. He has adapted very well to us and is
truly a member of the family. He likes to ride in the back of my husbands
truck, ride on the four wheeler, likes for me to run the vaccuum over him when
he is inside. Of course, he does love to eat, but we have him on a schedule and
he has lost about 10 poounds since we adopted him. Every afternoon when we get
home, we let him out and he runs from about 4 pm until 8 or 9 pm. He gets to
come in the house after we eat supper(or he would be in our laps); every week
or so, he gets a bath (which he loves, I run the bath and he he jumps in, no
fight, he loves it! He has even taken a bath with my kids) He really scare me
when I mow the yard, because he runs or walks every step of the way right
beside the mower, and I have to tell him to move or I might run over him. So
when I am done mowing I let him ride on the front deck. Here is a picture of
that.
I will send more
later.
Thanks again for
letting us make him a part of our family.
